Trades are the collected form of these serial issues.

Graphic novels can be collected serials or released as one large book, but it denotes something more serious and thought out. It's pretty much, something that has this story that it wants to tell and have meaning. Using the word just makes you sound pretentious.
Or as crazy old grouchy pants Alan Moore said, "It's a marketing term ... that I never had any sympathy with. The term 'comic' does just as well for me. ... The problem is that 'graphic novel' just came to mean 'expensive comic book' and so what you'd get is people like DC Comics or Marvel comics — because 'graphic novels' were getting some attention, they'd stick six issues of whatever worthless piece of crap they happened to be publishing lately under a glossy cover and call it The She-Hulk Graphic Novel..."

Oh and the Twelve Kingdoms. Oh. My. God. What. What. What. What. All I can do is sit here typing What. over and over. I think it beats Trinity Blood when it comes to What. endings. But half of it was really enjoyable.

On the other, Kaleido Star is awesome. I'm really enjoying that. The main downside is the everything's a bit formilaic and easy. She has to do something that's pratical. She pratices like crazy and barely succeeds, and the succeeds properly. Ken is cute, I just wish he had a different name. And that he hadn't fallen in love with her so quickly. It has the same director as Princess Tutu, fairly obvious that the two shows have the exact same types of eyes. I think. Anyway.

Go watch Princess Tutu, if you haven't already. NOW. WATCH PRINCESS TUTU.

I finally went to the doctor's about my eye and got given lots of anti-biotics to make me well. And had my tooth wire thing glued back on. And my foot is all healed up. So I'm good to go. Although I should sleep more. SO MUCH MORE. Everyone needs 8 hours sleep apparently. And teenagers need 9 hours. You lied to me teen magazines you said 6 - 8!
And there's a new x-men Animated series. Called "Wolverine and the X-men". No, really. But who cares! Lorna's in it! My favourite character is actually in one of the cartoons! ... As an acolyte... Okay then... Hee Pyro's also an acolyte. OTP, anyone? Please please please please let the Magneto being her father retcon carry over. PLEASE. This whole thing, makes me want to go out and buy X-men comics. Except they sent Lorna in to space. And hooked her back up with her abusive ex-boyfriend Havok.

Maybe I'll see if I can illegally download those as well. Because I do miss reading X-men it just got too exprensive... and badder.
Also, The Twelve Kingdoms is crying out for an Abridged Series. So many people just stand around and spout expostion that the other characters should already know. I'm talking over it less than I do with other shows though.
Finally, I keep referring to Mr. Bell as Norrington. Sadly my mood theme doesn't have a Mr. Bell icon.

New mood theme, hell yeah~

I think I'm finally getting sick of Avatar. The majority of the fandom is pissy twelve year olds and it's really starting to bug me.
Also, half of my avatar clips stopped working. So, I can't work on my AMVs and it's taking ages to encode the North & South footage and once it has, Vegas doesn't recognise it. In short, Vegas sucks. SUCKS. SO BAD.

On the plus side, new Skip Beat chapters are coming out. And things are going well for whatsherface again. Kyoko? But I can't help but wonder where Ren is. Reeeeen? Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen? And Cat Street, I think I like that better than Hana Yori Dango, it has more of an overall storyline when HYD just introduced blocking character after blocking character. The LA series did it much better. Speaking of that. I really need to watch the rest of the second season. And make one of you guys watch North & South with me, it's so much more fun watching things with other people. Also, Twilight sucks. I'm sorry but it does. And all the denial that it doesn't is starting to piss me off. Still going to see the movie when it comes out though.

And speaking of movies coming out of the closet, WATCHMEN is coming out in less than a year. The trailer looks awesome. I'm so excited. Screw you, HP movies. Watchmen is coming out. I've forgotten the actual date sadly. Oh and also, ask me any question and I'll reply truthfully, provided you paste this is you journal.

I stepped on one of Cameron's toys and it punctured my foot, so I can't walk on my right foot. Now I'm just hobbling around the house. So I can't go to work tomorrow.. So that's less to spend at Armageddon.

But it doesn't matter because I bought the BBC miniseries of North and South and it is so good. I love it, it beats all the other period miniseries I've seen. It's not perfect but the music and cinematography is beautiful.

Y'know that part after Edward sexed Bella up in Breaking Dawn and it's mentioned that he was biting the pillows? It always always makes me think of this page.
